About Me

I’ve built my career in the world of libraries, where I get to blend my love for research, media, and community every day. In my role at a journalism library within a large university, I focus on research trends, diversity and leadership, and media and cultural studies. I also oversee operations, procurement, and collection development — work that brings together leadership, strategy, and collaboration to ensure our library continues to thrive. I’m also the co-author of Using Twitter to Build Communities: A Primer for Librarians, Archives, and Museums (Rowman & Littlefield). To learn more about my professional journey, you can connect with me on LinkedIn.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and diving into the things that bring me joy: exploring libraries, books, and museums; cheering on the Mets; sipping bourbon (or wine); indulging in carbs and sweets; enjoying live music; binge-watching a good show; snapping photos to capture the moment; and traveling whenever I get the chance (definitely something I want to do more of!).
